Favorite Soda flavor: StrawberryBiography: Benjamin started out as a college dropout by the name of James Bennett who had been given a copy of Blue Shift by his friend Isaac to try out for him due to his friend being too busy. The game had been modded to include self aware AI's. He'd teamed up with a few of them, but the most notable one was named Gordone by his stream's chat. Ben didn't heed Gordone's warning of staying on the path though, and came face to face with another player who was playing as Gordon in their own copy of Half Life. This ended with James being shot.James then managed to go back in time and take the body of Benjamin Reed, a specimen that was being developed by Black Mesa's biological research department. Benjamin's main companions during that time were fellow experiments. Eventually, he was appointed as a high clearance level security guard due to his durability, hardy nature, and ability to follow orders. While working as a guard, they cloned him to make a hivemind and make his job easier.As time went on, Benjamin started to forget his time as James. The fake backstory he'd been injected with while they injected knowledge into him was so similar that it blended together and became indistinguishable.When the resonance cascade happened, he changed into a more monstrous form, something his clones are unable to do due to him being much less human than they are. What Ben is exactly is classified information, but he is the artificially created offspring of a rather dangerous, highly aggressive and territorial alien species. He is more docile due to having been James and having been socialized with humans, able to take a human form.He escaped after the resonance cascade through a tear in reality and ended up somewhere much better.His new job came to him in a black envelope, and he couldn't refuse. So, now he's an "intergalactic bureaucrat" with new abilities and a lot of paperwork.Fun facts:
-He would know about the secret experiments Black Mesa has been conducting.-He was also involved in the underground boxing ring.-He can mimic voices he's heard to say things he hasn't heard them say.

He was feeling pretty stressed out and on the edge of a breakdown due to the pressure put upon him from the program and from his toxic father. So, to relax, he decided to boot up a game of Half Life: Blue Shift that he'd gotten a VR version from his best friend, who was majoring in programming, as an early graduation gift.Everything played as normal until he died for the first time in-game after being shot in the head by Gordon Freeman, something that should not have even been possible.In the game, when he woke up, things started to get...weird. He woke up disoriented in a tube full of goop. He was himself, but also not. This caused him to panic because he knew this was not part of the game due to having played it before in the past.Turns out the resonance cascade hadn't happened yet and he was transported years into the past before the game's timeline would officially start. They made him along with 199 other clones using their current administrator's son as a subject.He had to learn this son's backstory through documents and what they told him. They thought he lost his memory, but thankfully it was much like his own except for several details that he just integrated into his memory.Overtime, he forgot who he was as his memories were sorta locked away in mental compartments from being stuck in the game with them being not as important. They put him on the security force, and things just went from there. Then came the resonance cascade and seeing that there was another human being! He never did manage to directly interact, but when it was over, life just continued as Black Mesa recovered, took him back, and put him back to work.He then managed to get out through a rip in the fabric of that reality. He's starting to remember more and more now that he's out.
He struggles with feelings of unreality and is sometimes unsure of what's real, what's fake, how long he's been like this. Everything is confusing to him.
